Inclusivity Statement
At Lead The Way, we pride ourselves on creating an inclusive, safe environment for all. No matter your gender identity, sexual orientation, race, or if you're disabled or chronically ill, we promise you can always feel safe and respected with us.
LGBTQIA+
As part of the LGBTQIA+ community ourselves, we know how scary it can be to go into a new space and not know if you're safe and will be accepted or not. We accept all people from the community and even encourage you to let us know your pronouns and any preferred names so we can ensure we address you in the correct way.
Disabilities & Chronic Illness
We understand that it can sometimes feel impossible and overwhelming to do somethings when you're disabled or chronically ill. We are here to help you on your dog training journey!
No matter your disability or illness, we are more than happy to go above and beyond to assist you to train your dog, whether that be being patient and explaining things in a different way or helping physically. We do not up-charge to adjust the training to your needs, you should not need to pay extra to train your dog just because you're disabled.
We are also currently learning Australian Sign Language to assist us in communicating with more people in the community.
If you believe we can help you, please don't hesitate to reach out!
